Deltagelse i udstillingen “RUM” i Galleri Christoffer Egelund

Fra d. 14. september deltager jeg med to værker i gruppeudstillingen RUM i Galleri Christoffer Egelund, Bedgade nr. 75. Galleriet skriver:

“We are happy to present the first out of the 10 artist who is participating in ‘RUM’ next Friday: Filip Andreas Juhl (b. 1978).

Filip Juhl graduated from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2008 and works in an uncompromising and unbreakable relationship to his media and his motives. His drawings at first glance give an impression of patience andthoroughness. In the next moment a layer of poetry, dreams and drama becomes clear in the shaded scenery. There is no doubt that the city of Copenhagen and the drawing as a media are the main characters of his work. The relationship between the artist, the paper and the pen seem to be a menage á trois driven by an almost libidinous desire to draw something latent that NEEDS to get out before the subjective and poetic enters the stage. Which it does. Almost imperceptibly but with a crucial hit nailing the motive to time.

Filip will participate with two Gicleé prints. More of Filips works can be found online in the webshop.”
